£1M Fund to Repair City Pavements

A new £1m scheme to resurface Southampton’s pavements is being launched this spring. The extra money will mean nearly 40 miles of additional pavements repaired next year.
“Fixing our roads and pavements is a key responsibility of the city council and it is even
more important in these tough financial times that we get our priorities right. This extra money will have a huge impact.”
