Conservative council acts to help with "keep warm" advice

The Conservative council in Southampton has launched a new free phone number -0800 519 1100 - for residents concerned about keeping warm.
During the winter it is vital residents have access to the latest advice about how to keep their homes warm at the lowest possible cost.
Information packs are available and there are special advice leaflets for families, people with disabilities or long-term health conditions and people over 60.
The packs are available by ringing the free phone number 0800 519 1100.
The free advice line can help anyone struggling with debt / fuel poverty to see if they are getting all the benefits that they are entitled to. There is also information on what insulation and heating grants are available.
