Promoting the strengthening of ties that bind our society together and providing reassurance and stability: family; community; a sense of responsibility. We believe that family is the best support group for individuals.
Education
We are committed to improving education for all; education is the tool that allows each individual to unlock their potential. It is vital that for a modern and growing Southampton that government take the decisions necessary to increase the opportunities for every child, especially those who are most disadvantaged. The Conservative administration is committed to two new city academies that which help improve educational standards across the city.
A Healthy city
Health care isn’t just about dealing with problems as they develop; it is about preventing them before they develop. For this to happen, we need a greater focus on public health and other forms of preventative care. With this is mind, the local Conservatives have indorsed increased sports provision for children.
A greener Southampton
We live in a world of global and local environmental threats, we must act now to protect the quality of life today and for future generations. This means responsibility to the environment that we live in, ensuring we have the least detrimental effect on our surroundings, by conserving and recycling.
