Dear Resident,
It has been over a year since you elected me as your local Conservative Ward Councillor for Portswood. I am thankful to all those that voted for me in the 2008 local elections, and will do everything I can to demonstrate that you voted for the right person.
It has been an eventful year, with lots of great things going on in the Ward. I hope to continue to work with local residents to improve the local area for the better.

I have also compiled a tour of Portswood looking at some of the local of shops, music venues, pubs, places of worship, green spaces, schools and community facilities that I have been lucky enough to visit.

My 5 Pledges for Portswood
1. BETTER COMMUNICATION- I will encourage better communication and relations with all local residents, protecting and standing up for their interests.
2. WEEKLY BIN COLLECTIONS- I will fight to keep the weekly bin collection, keeping our streets and pavements clean and sanitary.
3. A SAFER PORTSWOOD- I will work to make Portswood a safer place for all residents by putting more police on our streets.
4. FREE PARKING- I will fight Lib/Lab plans to charge Portswood residents for their first car parking permits.
5. COUNCIL TAX- I will fight to keep Council Tax rises as low as possible.
